Wan Muhammad Zainal Wan Yahya, 45 years old is the Deputy General Manager (Corporate Strategy) of Malaysian Franchise Association (MFA). He was employed in 2007 to handle the Research, Training and Business Development area of the Association. In 2011, he left MFA to pursue his interest in Market Research. He joined a Singaporen firm, Spire Research & Consulting Pte Ltd. His areas of supervision is Market Research Environment and he served projects for Honeywell, Panasonic, Hitachi, Loreal and Victoria Government of Australia. While he was there, he realised his passion was to serve in Trade Association. In 2013 he re-joined MFA and secured first ever project for MFA, which is the Enhanced Franchise Development Program (EFDP). He later then developed the Micro and Affordable Franchise Scheme Program for National level which was approvd by the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs, Malaysia. His roles in Association are research analysis, internationalisation, conference management, module development and business development. Apart from work he is an avid collector of Action Figures, comics and die-cast cars.
