SBF 2012 promoted in Brcko and Tuzla

14th and 15th February 2012 After the promotion of SBF2012 in Zenica and Tešanj, Bosna Bank International (BBI) organized presentations about Sarajevo Business Forum for entrepreneurs from Brčko District (BD) and Tuzla Canton (TK) on 14th and 15th February 2012.

Businessmen from these regions showed great interest in SBF. The most common question was in which economic field are the foreign investors most likely to invest in.

Tuzla Canton and Brčko District businessmen inquired about instructions on creating projects and realizing project presentations and whether there is a possibility to participate at SBF2012 without a project with the aim of establishing contacts with potential investors.

Minister of Trade, Tourism and Transport of Tuzla Canton, Mr. Aziz Čačković presented the project „Cargo centar“ (Airport Dubrave) which requires investment of 35 million BAM to the representatives of Bosna Bank International, the organizers of SFB. Minister Čačković plans to present the project at the upcoming SBF which is a positive indicator that businessmen recognized the opportunities provided by Sarajevo Business Forum.
The presentation in Brčko had similar results. Mr. Ševal Suljkanović, deputy general manager of Bimal oil factory, said that this giant company from Brčko is preparing for the Third Sarajevo Business Forum.
Mr. Suljkanovic added that in a time of an economic crisis it is very important to make and maintain direct contact with people from business world who are willing to invest in B&H and Brčko District economy.
Azra Čolić, Acting Director of BBI Corporate Banking Division, said: „This conference is a unique opportunity to present development potential of B&H economy to foreign investors. Entrepreneurs and businessmen from Bosnia and Herzegovina have a chance to establish cooperation with foreign company representatives and realize projects through partnerships“.

The presentation in Tuzla was co-organized with Chamber of Commerce of Tuzla Canton while Employers Association of Brčko District, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Brčko District and Brčko Government Economy Department helped organize the presentation in Brčko.
The Third SBF will be promoted in all major B&H cities.
